PPMS looks to WOW at World of Wheels

After months of planning and preparation, we are excited to finally announce Pittsburgh's Pennsylvania Motor Speedway's involvement at the 62nd Annual Pittsburgh World of Wheels Autorama presented by MAXmotive at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center. Known as the "Cavalcade of Customs", World of Wheels is known as a flagship event for automobile enthusiasts.
Event Dates and Times
Friday, January 20th - 3PM to 9PM
Saturday, January 21st - 10AM to 9PM
Sunday, January 22nd - 10AM to 6PM
The PPMS booth aims to be one of the largest at the show, as we look to host 20 dirt race cars. At least one car from each division will be represented. "This iconic car show allows us to have our drivers and all our divisions represented, giving us the opportunity in a big way to show a target audience who we are and what we do." states speedway partner Ben Miley. Many cars will unveil their newest designs with fresh bodies accompanied by new wraps, graphics or paint. Others may be sporting the battle scars that these cars endure throughout a typical season of racing. Regardless, all will add their personal twist to the show's "custom" moniker.
At the PPMS booth, you can look AND touch!
Kids, with parental and car owner consent, will be encouraged to get into and sit in the cars. They will see what the driver's see, feel what the driver's feel, and hopefully wear the same smile that the driver's wear when they climb into the cars themselves. Kids can also expect to receive driver autographs while they visit. Additionally, everyone is welcome to get their photos taken in "Victory Lane" thanks to Octane Customs, LLC.
"We look to make a lasting impression amongst those who are unfamiliar to the world of dirt track racing, die-hard dirt track racing fans, and everyone in between." states track announcer Tyler Harris. "The most important of those we look to impress are the kids. Simply put, they are the future of our sport."
