Dylan Wolf Wins the Regional Qualifier Legends Main Event

South Sound Speedway on Saturday August 31, 2024, was full of excitement with four classes on hand. Black Lake Towing Legends, 11 cars for 40-laps, Auto Tech Services Mini Stocks, 6 cars for 30-laps, Vintage Modifieds, 9 cars for 30-laps, and Quality Quick Lube-n-Tube Bandoleros, 5 cars for 15-laps.
Legend Main Event started with Allie-Mae Jones on the pole, and Josh Wharton on the outside. Jones takes the lead on lap 1. Shane Sawin takes the lead on lap 3. On lap 12, going into turn 3, Kaylee Decker hits Danny Arnold in the rear and spins herself, bringing out caution number 1. Dylan Wolf takes the lead on lap 13. On lap 13, turn 1, Arnold spins, bringing out caution number 2. On lap 30, turns 1 and 2, Wharton and Jones get together, bringing out caution number 3. Wolf goes on to win the Legend 40-lap Main event, followed by Sawin, Samantha Schwarz, Kyle Kinzebach, and Decker to round out the top five.
Dylan Wolf had a fast time of 15.454.

Kyle Kinzebach wins heat race #1, and Shane Sawin wins heat race #2.
The Mini Stock Main Event started with Ron Schlund Jr. on the pole, and Ron Schlund Sr. on the outside. Schlund Jr. takes the lead on lap 1. Shawn Jones takes the lead on lap 7. On lap 8, turns 1 and 2, Zandar Peters, Schlund Jr. and Charles LaMere get together, bringing out caution number 1. Jones goes on to win the Mini Stock 30-lap Main event, followed by Peters, LaMere, Richard Woolverton, and Schlund Jr. to round out the top five.
Zandar Peters had a fast time of 16.273.

Vintage Modifieds’ Main Event started with Travis Brown on the pole, and Chris Branon on the outside. George Chambers takes the lead on lap 1. Scott Rinkel takes the lead on lap 10. On lap 11, going into turn 3, Mike Duman has sparks and then hits the wall between turns 3 and 4, bringing out caution number 1 and a red flag. While getting ready to restart the race, Dominick Hunter and Scott Rinkel got together in turn 4, then on the front stretch Hunter got Rinkel loose, when he came up Hunter hit the front stretch wall. Rinkel goes on to win the Legend 30-lap Main event, followed by Chambers, Bob Fulmer, Branon, and Brown to round out the top five.
Scott Rinkel had a fast time of 15.250.

Robert Monroe wins heat race #1, and Dominick Hunter wins heat race #2.
Bandolero Main Event started with Jace Ellis in the front. After the green flag, turn 4, TJ Schlund spins, bringing out caution number 1. Ellis takes the lead on lap 1. On lap 6, turn 1, Ryder Jones and Schlund get together, bringing out caution number 2. Ellis goes on to win the Bandolero 15-lap Main event, followed by Hemi Franks, Rylan Presley, Schlund, and Jones to round out the top five.
Jace Ellis had a fast time of 17.547 (new record).
