Three Nights On Deck In Oklahoma And Kansas For The American Sprint Car Series
Bryan Hulbert – DRUMRIGHT, Okla. (June 12, 2023) Taking action three-wide this week, the American Sprint Car Series will head for Creek County Speedway (Sapulpa, Okla.) on Thursday, June 15, followed by Humboldt Speedway (Humboldt, Kan.), on Friday, June 16, then 81-Speedway (Park City, Kan.) on Saturday, June 17.
Creek County Speedway – Thursday, June 15
The track that gave rise to the American Sprint Car Series, the quarter-mile Creek County Speedway has hosted the National Tour 29 times since 1993, with 11 of those during the month of June, and the second time that the series has been at the track on Thursday, June 15. Happening in 2017, Aaron Reutzel led start to finish over Seth Bergman for the win.
There have been 22 different winners in ASCS National competition at Creek County Speedway. Jason Martin added his name to the list during the 2022 Fuzzy’s Fall Fling.
Thursday, June 15, opens at 4:00 P.M. in the pits and 5:00 P.M. in the stands. Hot Laps begin at 7:00 P.M. with Racing at 7:47 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors, $5 for youth (11-14), and free for kids 12 and under. A-Mods and Factory Stocks will join the card.

Humboldt Speedway – Friday, June 16
The second time the National Tour of the American Sprint Car Series will visit Humboldt Speedway, the tour’s lone trip to the Kansas bullring was May 9, 2018, where Wayne Johnson captured the win. One of 11 tracks in Kansas that have hosted the National Tour, there have been 46 events contested inside the borders of the “Sunflower State”.
Friday, June 16, at Humboldt Speedway, opens at 5:00 P.M. for the pits and 6:00 P.M. in the stands. Hot Laps at 7:30 P.M. with racing at 8:00 P.M. (CDT). The lineup of divisions includes Ray’s Metal Depot USRA B-Mods, Extrusions, Inc. Midwest Mods, Home Savings Bank Factory Stocks, USRA Tuners, and the ARMI USRA Modifieds.

81-Speedway – Saturday, June 17
Speaking of Kansas, a quick trip north finds 81-Speedway in Park City on Saturday, June 17. The first time the series has been to 81-Speedway in the month of June; the three previous shows have been in July, with wins going to Kevin Ramey (2001), Ryan Timms (2021), and Matt Covington (2022).
Saturday, June 17, opens at 3:00 P.M. for the pits and 5:00 P.M. for the stands. Hot Laps are at 6:00 P.M., with racing at 7:00 P.M. (CDT). Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors and military, and free for kids 10 and under. Other divisions include the JLR Property Management 316 A-Mods, AutoTech Service Super Stocks, and Primal Jerky Mini Stocks.

Entering the three-night stretch, Seth Bergman holds a 46-point advantage over Jason Martin. The two combine for six of the eight wins earned so far this season, with Jason at four and Seth at two. Currently third is Matt Covington, with Brandon Anderson and Landon Britt making up the top five in tour standings.
Howard Moore, Jordon Mallett, Kyler Johnson, Michael Day, and Brady Baker make up the top ten.
