Crate Racin' USA Gears Up for Waycross
(Eastaboga, Alabama - September 9, 2024) - The Rogers-Dabbs Performance Parts Crate Racin' USA Dirt Late Model Series will make its long-awaited return to Waycross Motor Speedway in Waycross, GA on Saturday night, September 14th. See the best crate late model drivers in the south compete for a one-day $10,000 to-win feature event.
It's been nine years since the series last competed at Waycross back on April 10th of 2015. On that day 2011 Rookie of the Year Chase Edge scored the victory over Cecil Eunice and Hunter Carter. The win marked Edge's only win of that season and helped propel him to a third-place finish in the points that season behind Ronnie Johnson and Ryan King.
Pit gates will open at 3:00pm, with grandstands opening at 4:00pm, the drivers meeting is scheduled for 6:30pm with hot laps rolling at 7:00pm and racing to follow.

2021 Series Champion Jimmy Thomas continues to lead the points with a 40-point lead over Matt Dooley(R), and a 42-point advantage over Mario Gresham as the series rolls into Waycross.
Matt Dooley leads the Cruise with the Champions Rookie of the Year chase.
The event will also be the next installment of the Crate Racin' USA $100,000+ Challenge Series. It will be the sixth race in the mini-series made up of event that pay $10,000 or more to win throughout the 2024 season.
Waycross will also feature Superstreet, Street Stock, Crown Vic Jr., and Enduro's for the racing action that night along with a full CRUSA Dirt Late Model Series program including Hot Laps, Stakt Products by CV Racing Products - Time Trials, Chevrolet Performance - Heat Races, Rogers-Dabbs Chevrolet - B-Mains, and the main event paying $10,000 to-win. Driver's and team are invited to an open practice session on Friday night, September 13th at the speedway.
