NOW600 National Micros
Gropp, Soares, and Heflin Garner Corey Imm Memorial Victories at Washington Speedway!

WASHINGTON, Kan. (Sept. 2, 2024) - Ava Gropp, Hank Soares, and Kyle Heflin garnered their respective fields on Saturday for the Corey Imm Memorial at Washington Speedway with NOW600 Jayhusker Region.
A field of 72 entries made the call featuring 32-NOW600 Non-Wing Micros, 23-NOW600 A-Class Micros, and 17-NOW600 Restricted Micros.
Ava Gropp topped the Stock Non-Wing feature event. Garett Hake crossed in second with Trey Zorn rounding out the podium from 10th. Hank Soares charged from 16th to finish fourth with Landon Graham making up the top five.
Garett Hake, John Riley Nicholson, Tristan Mikesell, and Jackson Kounkel each won heat races. Daniel Shaffer and Jesse Pate were winners of the B-Mains.
Hank Soares won the A-Class feature event. Trey Zorn finished in the runner up spot with Cody Berkenmeier making up the top three. Matthew Laflin was fourth with the top five rounding out with Jackson Kounkel.
Kamden Gossard, Cody Berkenmeier, and Keegan Osantowski each topped Heat races. Matthew Laflin won the lone B-Main.
Kyle Heflin picked up the win in Restricted. Kasen Zorn was second at the line with Taver West making up the podium. Sawyer Zimmerman finished in fourth with Gavyn Bolt the top five.
Kasen Zorn and Kyle Heflin won the two heat races.
