Banks, Oregon- The Street Stocks were in town on Wednesday, June 26th, taking the role as the support class. A total of nine cars came out for the rare midweek event. In the end some great racing was to be had.
Craig Loomis dominated the main event which practically went green to checkered. The only stoppage was on the initial start when a car stopped on the back straightaway. For Loomis, of Vancouver, Washington, he put the pedal to the metal and cruised away to his third win of the season.
Portland’s Frank Elwess posted a second-place result while J.C Miller, out of Vancouver, Washington, was third. Forest Grove chauffeur Joey Tardio got fourth with Kevin Roberts, hailing from Gresham, completing the top five, in fifth. Loomis was victorious in the one and only heat race of the night.
