September 17th Races At Sunset Speedway Park Rained Out; Championship Night Next Saturday

Banks, Oregon- We regret to inform everyone that the races for Saturday, September 17th at Sunset Speedway Park have been cancelled. The track received lots of rain this morning and the forecast shows that it will continue to rain all afternoon and evening long. With all the precipitation it has already soaked the grounds and has prevented any equipment being able to get on the race track.
Next Saturday, September 24th is Championship Night and is the final event of the 2016 schedule. It will feature a full card of classes including the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series, Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, Bridgeport Logistics Street Stocks, IMCA Sport Mods, Pure Stocks, and 4-Bees.
Pit Gates on Saturday will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30. Tickets for this event are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
