Banks, Oregon- This Saturday, May 9th, at Sunset Speedway Park the 1/4-mile clay oval will be hosting Bud Light Lime-A-Rita Ladies Night. One of the teams that will be making the long haul is Ren Marose. Marose, who calls Campbell River, British Columbia home, will grab the ferry on Friday and travel from Vancouver Island to the mainland before heading south to the “Banks Bullring”. He pilots the Fusion Graphix/Rockstar Energy Drink/Eddie's Automotive/Twisted Metal Transport/Sunnyside Brake & Muffler/Beddow Electric/Wolf's Auto Body/Pole Position Bar & Grill/DreamGirls at Fox's #09 M&M Dwarf Car entry.

“Our goal this weekend is to come out and do really good,” commented Marose, “we plan to hit all of the races at Banks, Willamette, and Cottage Grove and run all the national events too.”

Last time Marose visited SSP he finished eleventh in the feature. Ren has already ran a few races at Salem Indoor Speedway as well as a few races in California.

“The season's been pretty good,” he would continue, “but I had a bad wreck in Chico (Silver Dollar Speedway) and ended up breaking a few bones in my foot.”

Marose will be racing all over the Western United States in 2015. His team has around eighty dates scheduled to race up and down the Pacific Coast. With that much racing on tap look out Marose as he should be a contender whatever track he shows up to.

Other classes on the card include the Budweiser IMCA Modifieds, IMCA SportMods, Pure Stocks, 4-Bee's. Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 4:00, and racing starts at 6:30. Tickets for this event are Adults $13.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
