Micro Sprints To Invade SSP On Saturday May 3rd

Banks, Oregon- This Saturday May 3rd Sunset Speedway Park will host their first race of the season and to be a part of the Season Opener will be the Micro Sprints. Teams from Oregon, Washington, and even British Columbia are expected to make the trek to SSP for what should be a memorable night of racing as it will feature two different class of the Micros including the Stock and Restricted.
The Restricted ranks is the class where you will see the youngest drivers as they gain valuable experience before they make the leap into the Stock class and eventually Sprint Cars. In the Stocks you will see older or experienced drivers take to the “Banks Bullring”. The ¼-mile clay oval is configured perfectly for the Micro Sprints.
In addition to Micros on tap there will also be Northwest Extreme Sprints, IMCA Modifieds, Street Stocks, Pure Stocks, and 4-Bee’s. Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
