Sunset Speedway Park Looks To Get Season Opener In This Weekend

Banks, Oregon- After last weekend’s rain out this Saturday April 26th hopes to be the 2014 Season Opener at Sunset Speedway Park. Classes included for that date are the Northwest Extreme Late Model Series, IMCA Modifieds, Pure Stocks, and the Womens division.
The Northwest Extreme Late Model Series will be in action for the second time in 2014 as they hosted their first race of the season Saturday April 19th at Cottage Grove Speedway. Shaun Mayea was the feature winner.
Pit Gates will open at 2:00 PM, Front Gates open at 3:30, and racing starts at 6:00. Tickets for this event are Adults $12.00, Seniors/Military/Juniors (13-18) $10.00, Youths (Ages 12-6) $5.00, and Children under the age of 5 are FREE and a family pass will be offered for two Adults and up to four Youths for just $35.00.
