Updated Sunset Speedway Schedule Released

Banks, Oregon- We’d like to let our wonderful race teams and fans know that the 2014 Sunset Speedway Park schedule has been updated to the FINAL EDITED VERSION. There are several dates where the lineup of classes that has been changed. Something that has been added is that there will be a one-hundred lap Modified event, the Modified Mayhem 100, which will take place on Saturday September 6th and will be $1,000.00 to win.
Also noticeable that has changed is the perk of picking up a win in any of the first eleven Street Stock races leading up to the Jim’s Thriftway Open Street Stock National 100. The winner of any of those features have an opportunity to automatically qualify for the Jim’s Thriftway Open Street Stock National 100 main event on Saturday July 12th starting no further back than tenth. Also the term “Open” means your Street Stock must comply with the rules at either Sunset Speedway Park, Grays Harbor Raceway, Willamette Speedway, or Cottage Grove Speedway to be legal. This event will also be $1,000.00 to win.
