CARS Tour West
Competitor Reminders for This Saturday @ I.S.
Attention ALL PRO LATE & LEGEND TEAMS planning on competing at Irwindale Speedway for Round #7 of the 2024 zMAX CARS Tour West / MMI Legends Tour West!
PLEASE READ the following information:
PRE-ENTRY:
All Teams MUST FILL OUT Entry From. This includes Irwindale Speedway PLM & LEG Teams as well.
THURSDAY NIGHT PRACTICE (Managed by Irwindale Speedway)
Thursday night practice is available to all teams from 5pm -9:00pm. The fee is $300 for 1/2 mile and $150 for 1/3 mile.
Optional Test Day: Friday, August 30th:
- Credential / Gates 3:30 pm
- Pit Meeting (PLM & LEG at CARS Trailer) 4:30pm
[ PLM Practice Fee $300/car ] - Open Testing: 5 pm - 9 pm
- Legends Race (INEX Points Only) 9 pm
[ LEG Practice (Includes Fri. Race) Fee $150/car ]
Race Day - Saturday, August 31st :
- Credentials / Gates 11:30 am
- MANDATORY driver/spotter/crew chief meeting 12:15pm
- On-track starts 1:30 pm
- Driver On-Track Autograph Session 5:45 pm
- Opening Ceremonies 6:30 pm

The Pro Late Models $100 Entry Fee will be payable at CARS Tour West trailer on the day of the event; pre-payment is not required.
FORMAT:
-ZMAX CARS Tour West Pro Late 100 Fueled by El Bandido Yankee Tequila
-MMI Legends Tour West 30 Presented by Frank's Radio Service
?-The A-main will be 100 laps with no breaks.
-Competition caution after 35 consecutive green flag laps not within 15 to go.
TIRES & FUEL REQUESTS:
Hoosier 970 - Irwindale Speedway will provide Tires for the weekend. Tires will be available for purchase on Friday and Saturday. (Must Purchase Tires at Event from IS.)
PLEASE Pre-Order your tires (Size and Quantity) and/or Fuel by emailing competitors@carstourwest.com at your earliest convenience. Advance payment not required.
Remember: race tires can be worked on in the impound area on Friday and will be released to teams on race day.
HAULER PARKING:
Please e-mail competitors@carstourwest.com any special parking needs. ?If you want to park by someone let us know so we can accommodate everyone. If you need to unhook your tow vehicle let us know.
