Fan/Driver Appreciation Corporate Agreements formed lowering Fan & Driver Expenses
Ovid Mi - Owosso Speedway Management Team is proud to announce a 3 year agreement between several major players in the transportation industry.
This is a push back against inflation and rising costs everywhere. The agreement is between Loves Travel Centers, Jam Best One Fleet Service, Wheeler Trucking, and Owosso Speedway. This agreement is a 3 year sponsor agreement to join these fantastic companies in a formula that gives back to the people that make short track racing great - It's fans and drivers.
Because of this generosity, and giving back, Owosso Speedway will be able to set its front gate ticket price at $14 dollars for 2023 season. Drivers across the board in all divisions will see a generous increase in their start pay.
Regular Event Pit pass price will be $32 dollars. Despite rising cost industry wide, with this level of Corporate participation, directed towards fans and drivers, the track can lower their cost to participate in the events.
Rex Wheeler had the following remarks, "We have a wonderful opportunity to give back to the community, due to the extremely hard working, dedicated people we have in the New Lothrup Community and throughout the nation. Without the success and sales volume of Wheeler Trucking, we would not have had the opportunity to engage in high level marketing discussions with these companies about Owosso Speedway. Once they hear the history of the speedway and the drivers passion for the very unique racing, they get exited too. Partnered together, We can give back to the drivers, fans, and invest in the facility itself."
Owosso Speedway General Manager Jeff Parish added, "What we as a short track are experiencing is a unique blend of situations. We have a very generous owner, who not only has sponsored racing events at other tracks, race teams, and racing series, it shows Rex's passion for his sport, and his community. His opportunities are not directed towards himself, but straight back to the fans and drivers. It's a wonderful time to be part of what Owosso Speedway has occurring. What you'll see over the next five years will be incredible. We've only just begun the opportunity to have face to face meetings with the companies that have been out of reach for most grass roots level tracks. What you'll see directed back towards fans and drivers will be fantastic, because we are positioned in a unique ways to do it. We're only 3 months into this and it's growing at an incredible rate. We're going to give back to the people that have kept Owosso alive and part of racing history. In the weeks and months ahead, you'll see amazing things unfold that are a true blessing to be a part of."
