2nd Annual Jerry Dodd Memorial Winners
Thank you to everyone who came out Saturday night for the 2nd Annual Jerry Dodd Memorial which also kicked off the second half of the 2024 season!!! It was great to see "old" friends as well as meet "new" friends.
The racing once again did not disappoint and the points battle remains close for most classes.
Wayne Coffman in the C5 was able to hold off point leader Tyson Talkington in the Super Stocks to take home the $1500 pay day. Wayne also picked up the $100 hard charger and one of the $100 longest tow bonuses thanks to Bobby and Lorena with RDM Trucking LLC .
The Spring Family swept the Spring Family Motorsports Mini Dwarfs with #35 Ryder Spring winning the sportman class and #33 Luke Spring winning the master class.
Dalton Houghton in the #61H might have finally gotten the monkey off his back this season as he picked up the Living Waters Hospice IMCA Modified win while over at Ventura Raceway, his dad, Donald Houghton #161, picked up the IMCA Modified Win.
No one was able to get around Dwarf driver #12x John Isabella as he led all 25 laps.
Last but certainly not least, Street Stock driver #25jr AJ Saenz took home the checked flag! He was so excited to win......that he forgot to stop on the front stretch for a "recent" picture! (updated 5:37 pm - AJ was kind enough to give us a "recent" picture so we took down the older picture).
The next race on September 14th will be here before we know it! Gates open at 6:30 pm with racing at 7:30 pm. The 2024 Super Stock track champion will be decided that night. There is currently only a 6 point difference between 1st and 2nd!
