Marshalltown Speedway COVID-19 Statement
We are monitoring communications from the U.S. Department of Health as well as the State of Iowa on concerns with the COVID-19 virus. Currently there are no plans to change the current 2020 schedule. We will continue to keep a watchful eye and if any changes are warranted, we will make an announcement on our website at http://www.marshalltownspeedway.com/ and our social media channels.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is recommending at this time that if you are among the sick and vulnerable—especially the elderly and those with suppressed immune systems—you should avoid large gatherings. If you are showing signs of flu-like symptoms you should consult with your doctor.
As many others have done, the Marshalltown Speedway urges everybody to use common sense: Wash your hands often and use hand sanitizer frequently; If you are sick, stay home; Avoid shaking hands for the time being and, finally, don't panic.
Stay safe. Be well. Buckle up. We're going green April 3rd for the IMCA Frostbuster.
