Abbottstown, PA (August 2, 2025) – Saturday night’s DCS School of Driving Night at Lincoln Speedway delivered a classic, action-packed feature with Freddie Rahmer charging through the field from 12th to the win.
Jordan Strickler and Mike Bittinger brought the field to the green flag, with Bittinger jumping to the early lead as the duo raced wheel-to-wheel out of Turn 2. Billy Dietrich quickly slotted into third and applied pressure to Strickler, but an early caution on the opening lap for Brett Strickler lined the field up for an early race restart.
Bittinger controlled the field on the restart. Brett Strickler spun in turns 1 and 2 bringing out the yellow again. Dietrich was all over Jordan on the restart for second and Matt Campbell got by Tim Glatfelter for a spot in the top five. Brett spun again on lap 3 and the field lined up for another restart. Dietrich moved into second and Tyler Ross climbed to third as the laps clicked away.
By Lap 10, lapped traffic came into play, allowing Dietrich to close the gap on Bittinger, narrowing the lead to just half a second. Working the bottom groove, Dietrich challenged for the top spot but was forced to settle into third after getting caught behind a lapped car, with Ross now pressuring for the lead.
On Lap 15, Ross pulled a slider coming out of turn 2 to take over the top spot from Bittinger, with Freddie Rahmer surging into second and Dietrich holding third. Troy Wagaman had charged up through the field, battling Dietrich for a podium position as the laps wound down.
The final stages of the race featured a thrilling duel between Ross and Rahmer in heavy traffic. Rahmer used a perfectly timed slider in turn 4 to take the lead away, then moved up the track to block Ross’ momentum. Ross stayed glued to Rahmer’s tail but was unable to retake the top spot before the checkered flag fell, giving Rahmer the hard-fought victory. Ross was second and Dietrich crossed the line third. Wagaman finished fourth and Campbell held on to finish in fifth.

The opening lap saw Hunter Fulton and Tylar Rutherford battling wheel-to-wheel, with Rutherford edging ahead as the field came to complete the first circuit. However, the move was negated by a caution for Will McNeal, who came to a stop in Turn 2. Fulton led the field back to green, followed by Rutherford, Kyle Spence, Jayden Wolf, and Jude Siegel.
Spence quickly made his presence known, using the high line to power around Rutherford for second before closing in on Fulton for the lead. By Lap 3, Spence had taken over the top spot, with Wolf sliding into second.
The race was slowed on Lap 5 when Rutherford, battling hard inside the top five, flipped in Turns 3 and 4 to bring out the first red flag of the night. Spence maintained the lead on the restart, followed by Wolf, Fulton, Siegel, and Dylan Norris.
The fight for third heated up as Siegel and Fulton swapped the position, with Siegel ultimately taking the spot and bringing Cody Fletcher into the mix. Fletcher soon claimed fourth and began to challenge Siegel, while Norris held fifth.
Another red flag flew on Lap 12 when Tom Senseney and Cole Small tangled in Turns 3 and 4. Spence remained in control for the restart, but Wolf applied heavy pressure in the closing laps, looking for a way to steal the victory. Behind them, Fletcher and Siegel traded sliders for third, while Ayden Hare slipped into the top five after a battle with Norris.
When the checkered flag waved, it was Spence taking the win, holding off a hard-charging Wolf for the victory. Siegel crossed the line third and Fletcher was fourth. Hare completed the top five.
