Ford records Top-5 finish in Johnny Wheeler Memorial at Lake Cumberland

On Saturday afternoon Jensen Ford visited Lake Cumberland Speedway (Burnside, Ky.) for the Valvoline Iron-Man Northern Series-sanctioned Johnny Wheeler Memorial. In a field of 24 cars, Jensen followed up the third fastest time in his qualifying group with a second-place finish in his heat race behind Devin Gilpin. Locked into the fifth-starting position for the $5,031-to-win A-Main, Ford improved one spot in the 30-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Devin Gilpin, Dustin Linville, and Jared Hawkins to the checkers with Zack Dohm coming in fifth. (Wells Racing Photography)
