Entry List For 35th Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout Continues To Grow As Deadline Nears

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (November 18, 2019) With the deadline for early entry approaching, the list of teams looking for a Golden Driller at the 35th annual Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout stands at 721 entries among 316 drivers from 203 Municipalities and 28 States.

Currently, at $100 per entry, the deadline for the discounted entry price expires on Tuesday, December 3 with the price to enter going to $125. Teams who have not yet entered the 2020 event can do so at https://www.myracepass.com/register/?n=10110&reg=2264 or by calling (918) 838-3777, Monday-Friday between 9:00 A.M. and 5:00 P.M. (CT).

Starting Wednesday, December 4, 2019, the fee per class goes to $125 with all early entry cut off on Wednesday, December 18, 2019. After that, teams will be able to enter the event during move-in on Tuesday, December 31, 2019, with all entries coming to a stop at Noon on Wednesday, January 1, 2020.

Looking over the current list of entries finds 21 previous champions of the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout in the field, the sum total of Golden Drillers earned is 37 with Blake Hahn (8), Frank Flud (4), Brady Bacon (3), Chris Andrews (3), Chad Winfrey (2), and Chris Cochran (2) the only drivers entered with multiple victories to their name.

The 35th edition of the Lucas Oil Tulsa Shootout will will feature A-Class (Wing, Non-Wing, and Restricted), Outlaw (Wing and Non-Wing), and Junior Sprints as well as the new Oklahoma 600cc Modifieds in action. For all classes, RaceCeivers are mandatory. The frequency will be 454.000.

Starting with the 2020 event, all stock classes will be allowed to run Electronic or Mechanical Injectors with a mechanical fuel pump with stock OEM throttle bodies or carbs only will be allowed. No mixing of manufacturers.
