Bomber Points Battle At Lincoln Park Is Heating Up Going Into September
With 5 races to go at LPS things are heating up in our Bomber Division. Joey Raber leads the way with 875 points but Megan Cavaness made a big surge to the top with a big win Saturday at LPS. Megan is now only 12 points behind with 863. David Wallen(820) and Corey Anstead(807) are still in the hunt also. This division is so competitive week in and week out you will not want to miss this battle down to the 2023 Championship at LPS. The other divisions also have a lot of close battles throughout the top 10. In the UMP Super Stocks Larry Raines has built a nice lead but spots behind him are getting closer and many of these same drivers are in intense battles for the UMP national and regional points. In our UMP Mod class Matt Mitchell is on top with many battles around him also for the title. The UMP points nationally and in the State are really fun to watch also with UMP only having 6 weekends left to get your best point nights in. Tye Mihocko has a nice lead in our sprint division but the competitive field every week is loaded as we saw with 36 cars grinding it out last week. We are excited to see all of these great drivers on a holiday weekend battling it out where every position counts at the end of year for those championship tall 6 foot trophies!!! We will see everyone this weekend at the King of Non Wing where Circle City provides the big boom up in the sky and our weekly heroes provide the entertainment on the clay each week.
