Retro T-Shirt Night This Coming Saturday Night
THOROLD, ONTARIO (June 13, 2022) … The popular Retro T-Shirt Night will take place at Merrittville Speedway this coming Saturday night, June 18 to kick off Father’s Day Weekend. Rankin Construction will present the racing program that will also feature the second home race for the Insta Panels Duel on the Dirt for the 4 cylinders presented by St. Catharines Husky.
The Corr/Pak Merchandising 358 Modifieds, Right Choice Auto & Leisure Sportsman, Hoosier Stocks, RONA/Doidge Building Centre Mod Lites, and the Vansickle Pet Valu/PV on the Lane 4 Cylinders will all be in competition at “Canada’s Oldest Dirt Track”.
Originally known as Stephens and Rankin Inc., the company was founded in 1978 by Tom Rankin and Dave Stephens. Rankin Construction has flourished under the direction of Tom Rankin, who has been the sole proprietor since 1991. Tom takes pride in ensuring that Rankin Construction remains a diverse, people-oriented company with a successful track record for meeting and exceeding client expectations. Projects that Rankin Construction has been a part of over recent years include the redevelopment of the Queenston Bridge Plaza, the Warplane Heritage Museum, Niagara Health System Hospital, and more.
Pit gates will open at 5 pm, grandstands open at 5:30 pm, and racing will get underway at 7:00 pm Saturday night.
