HAROLD BEITLER 1927-2020

Skagit Speedway Hall of Fame member Harold Beitler passed away Tuesday evening November 10th surrounded by his family.
Harold started his racing career in the early 1950’s after returning from the Korean War. He was among the group of racers that raced the first race at Skagit Speedway on Labor Day 1954.
In later years he served as the flagman, announcer and track photographer. The past 20 years he was a fixture at the race track sitting on top of the control tower with his son Steve.
