Firecracker 100 Weekend Countdown is On
Sarver, PA (May 24, 2023) We are now less than a month away from one of the most anticipated weekend's of the year in our area as the 17th Annual Firecracker 100 presented by Big River Steel moves closer to taking over The Action Track June 22-24! The stars of the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series return to take on the best from the area and beyond with three straight nights of racing with complete racing programs on June 22 and 23 featuring twin $5,000-to-win feature races and on Saturday, June 24, another complete night of racing culminating in the $50,000-to-win, 100-lap Firecracker 100.
Meanwhile, the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply RUSH Late Models presented by Born2Run Lubricants will be joining the festivities once again with qualifying and heat races June 22 and 23 and the fifth annual, $20,000-to-win, 50-lap 'Bill Emig Memorial' taking place on Saturday, June 24. The richest Flynn's Tire and Auto RUSH Touring event of the year attracts drivers from all over the Mid Atlantic and Canada and has become a staple attraction of the weekend!
However, the three-day speed festival has become about much more than racing over the years with activities including a cornhole tournament, concerts following the racing on Thursday and Friday night, campsite decorating contests and a few new wrinkles to the festivities for race fans added for 2023 as well! There's truly something for every race fan at the 17th annual Firecracker 100.
