Sarver, PA (September 7, 2022) With the 2022 Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy season completed after last Fridays ˜Championship Night, there are still awards to be passed out now that Champions have been crowned.

The ˜Penske Truck Leasing Hard Charger Award is a weekly award given out to the driver who advanced the most positions during a Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy event in any division. The weeks Hard Charger was awarded an additional $100 for their efforts. Out of 12 eligible Fab4 events, the Millerstown Pic-A-Part Pro Stocks were the division with the most Penske Hard Charger Awards throughout the season with eight winners.

Jason Fosnaught gained 13 positions on April 22 while Brett McDonald improved 11 spots on April 29. Fellow Millerstown Pro Stock driver Todd Weldon gained 17 positions on May 13 before Diehl Automotive Big Block Modified rookie Chas Wolbert picked up a whopping 19 spots on May 20. 2022 Millerstown Pro Stock Champion Tyler Dietz gained eight spots on June 3. On June 10 it was Alex Ferree passing 14 cars enroute a second-place finish in the Precise Racing Products Late Models feature on ˜Fan Appreciation Night. Joey Zambotti brought the award back into the Pro Stock ranks by advancing 10 positions on June 17 before Lernerville Fab4 action took a break for the Firecracker 100 and the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup at the end of June and beginning of July.

When Fab 4 action resumed, we had our first tie of the season as four drivers gained seven positions on July 8. Joshua Powell, Ken Schaltenbrand, and Tyler Dietz represented the Precise Late Models on that night while Chris Schneider added another checkmark for the Millerstown Pro Stocks. With the four-way tie, each driver was awarded $50 for making their way around seven others in each of their respective features. On July 15, the Peoples Natural Gas Sprints division finally got Penske Hard Charger award when 2022 Champion A.J. Flick got around 14 other People Sprints to finish fourth while Joey Zambotti picked up his second Hard Charger Award on July 29 after passing 11 Millerstown Pro Stocks. 1998 Lernerville Speedway track champion Gary Lyle passed 15 Precise Late Models to earn Penske Hard Charger honors on August 19 as Nick Kocuba gained seven positions on ˜Championship Night last Friday, September 2.

The 1-800-GetPhil Heat Race Bonus awarded $800 to the driver with the most heat race points at the end of the 2022, in each Fab4 division. Darin Gallagher used consistency and two heat wins to win the heat race bonus in the Peoples Sprints division. Gallagher finished the season with 69 heat race points, just two ahead of 2022 Peoples Sprints Champion A.J. Flick who finished the year with 67 heat race points. The newly crowned Precise Late Models Champion, John Garvin, Jr., bested his teammate Colton Flinner for the 1-800-GetPhil Heat Race Bonus award in the Late Models.

The tightest Heat Race challenge points battles were in the Diehl Modifieds and Millerstown Pro Stock divisions, and both ended up tied after last weeks final Fab4 night. Jeremiah Shingledecker and Garrett Krummert both finished the year with 78 total heat race points but with heat race wins being the tiebreaker, Shingledecker edged out Krummert with five heat race wins to Krummerts four. The Millerstown Pro Stock 1-800-GetPhil Heat Race Bonus was as tight as the championship battle as Tyler Dietz and Chris Schneider went into the final night of Fab4 action separated by only one point. Schneider won his heat on Championship Night which put him in a tie with Dietz as Dietz finished second in the same heat race. Both competitors had 83 heat race points after the final night and with six heat race wins, Schneider claimed the $800 Heat Race Bonus in the Millerstown Pro Stock division.
