Action Track Recap- Vance Takes Enduro Honors; Iarrapino Victorious in Powder Puffs; Myers and Bauman Take Wins on Back to School Bus Race Night

Sarver, PA (September 13, 2020) The annual Back to School Bus Race/Kids Bike Race event night brought a little something for everyone to The Action Track on Saturday night as a night of racing, good times and car crunching brought delight to the fans on hand.  Those fans were treated to some thrilling side by side racing action in all three of our School Bus Features, and a hotly contested Fire Truck race that went down to the wire as well as a surprise finish to the first Enduro 100 of the season.

The highlights of the night included a slugfest in the Powder Puff Bus feature that saw the two most dominant drivers in recent years, Rosie Spithaler and Annette Iarrapino, trade paint on several occasions and swap the lead as Iarrapino made her way across the finish line first to collect the feature win, and a hard hitting Demo Derby win for Dakota Heinl. Meanwhile, in his first trip to Lernerville Speedway as a competitor, Jason Vance saved the best laps for last as he made his way past race leader Matt Feder with 13 laps to go to collect his first career Action Track Enduro victory.  Feder dominated the race from the drop of the green flag after multi time race winner Joe Campbell went to the pits with just 11 laps in the books. Feder, a multi time race winner himself kept a torrid pace for the middle laps, putting the field behind him by two laps until his car slowed due to a deflated rear tire, allowing Vance to close by a second a lap until he made his final pass.

Bobby Seigel cruised to victory in the annual Autism Awareness Bus Race, while Dan Bauman once again was in a league of his own in Stock Bus action, collecting his third straight victory.  After the conclusion of on track festivities, The Action Track Podcast went to work in the studio and filed this weeks podcast recapping the night that was on the track and looking ahead to the remaining schedule. Fab4 racing resumes on Friday, September 18 as the drive to the points championships heats up once again. Pits will open at 4 PM, grandstands at 5 PM with racing starting at 7:30 PM. Adult general admission is $15, $12 for seniors, $10 for students ages 11-17 and children 10 and under are free.
