BELLEVUE, Ohio – While the past few races haven’t gone as planned for Bellevue, Ohio native Cap Henry, he looks to change that this weekend. The full-time All Star Circuit of Champions competitor sits fifth in the 2016 point standings thus far, and Henry is primed to improve on that. The upcoming All Star events at Western Pennsylvania’s Lernerville Speedway in Sarver on Friday night and Mercer Raceway Park on Saturday night may be just what he needs to make a resurgence.

This past weekend, Henry attempted two nights with the World of Outlaws at Eldora Speedway in Rossburg, Ohio, as the All Stars were off for the weekend, but he and his Coomer Motorsports No. 21 team qualified inside the top 20 on both nights, but were unable to make it into either main event.

“[Eldora]’s tricky. I think it’ll be a better weekend,” Henry referred to the upcoming Pennsylvania visit. “We are getting back to tracks that I have good history at, including wins at both tracks. I won at Mercer in 2011, which was my first 410 win,” he recalls. Most recently, Henry collected a sixth-place result at the 3/8-mile oval in 2014, while driving for the Genzman Racing Enterprises team. In his last visit to Lernerville, a 4/10-mile slightly bigger than Mercer, Henry stole away the victory in one of the track’s weekly races early in the 2013 season over several drivers who will be in action this Friday night. Since the beginning of 2012, Henry has started a combined seven races at the pair of tracks and finished inside the top ten each time, including five top-five runs.

Henry would like to thank Aesthetic Finishers, Armor Coat, Cerakote, Best Bite Grill, Printworks, FK Rod Ends, Simpson Race Products, Wings Unlimited, Diversified Machine Inc, Kistler Racing Engines, Jon Coomer Financial Services, and Kinsler Fuel Injection, as well as his family, fans, and the Coomer Motorsports team for their continued support.

Henry is next scheduled to compete on May 13 at Lernerville Speedway in Sarver, Pa. and on May 14 at Mercer (Pa.) Raceway Park, both with the All Star Circuit of Champions in the Coomer Motorsports No. 21 410ci winged sprint entry.
