Silver Dollar Speedway
Play Day Cancelled for Friday February 17th
CHICO, CA (2-16-17) -Â Numerous factors have contributed to the cancelation of this Friday night's scheduled practice at Silver Dollar Speedway. Recent wet weather has made the pit area unusable and the Fairgrounds is still hosting a few evacuees from the recent Oroville Spillway scare.
With all that said, the forecast looks favorable for the following weekends Sherm and Loree Toller Memorial scheduled for February 25that Marysville Raceway. A large amount of winged 360 sprint cars, IMCA Sport Mods and Wingless sprints are set to offer the first Northern California dirt track race of 2017.
Silver Dollar Speedway is still hoping to host the February 26th practice set to start at noon and conclude around 4 PM.
On March 3rd and 4th the Speedway will host the annual Mini Gold Cup. A large amount of race cars and fans are eager to get back to the track.
