Silver Cup On Tap This Weekend at Chico
CHICO, CA (3-1-16) -Â For the first time in 2016 the stars and cars of Silver Dollar Speedway will attack the world famous quarter-mile clay oval located at the Silver Dollar Fairgrounds this Friday and Saturday. Friday night will feature loads of action as the 360 winged sprint cars, dirt modifieds and wingless sprints will all run a full program. Then on Saturday night, the Joe Hunt Magnetos Wingless Sprint Series regulars are joined by the All Star Modifieds and the winged 360 sprints. Large car counts are expected in all three divisions for both nights.
On Friday night, March 4th, adult prices are $17.00 for adults, $14.00 for seniors and juniors, children are $6.00 and kids five and under are free. On Saturday night, March 5th, adult prices are $20.00, seniors and juniors are $15.00, children are $6.00 and kids five and under are free.
During both Friday and Saturday racing, the pit gate is scheduled to open at 2 PM while the front gate opens at 5 PM. Qualifying for the winged sprint cars is slated to begin at 6 PM. Racing is set to happen around 6:30 PM each night.
