Fall Nationals Ends Season at Chico
CHICO, CA (9-18-12) -Â The 20th Annual 360 Sprint Car Fall Nationals is set to take place September 28th and 29th at Silver Dollar Speedway. The popular end of the year race will feature drivers from all around the West Coast vying for the $40,000 purse over the two nights. Saturday night's sprint car 40-lap main event will pay $5,000 to the winner. Friday night 30-lap winner will pay $3,000. Joining the winged sprints will be the wingless spec sprints and street stocks. A printable flier is located on the left hand side of our website at www.silverdollarspeedway.com. There is a discount to pre-register for this race, however, entries must be post marked before September 23 to receive discount.
Pit gate will open at 2pm on both days. Front grandstand is slated to open at 5pm. Sprint car qualifying should begin by 6:30pm on Friday night. A full program is slated for Friday and Saturday night. Of course, this is subject to change depending on car count and time considerations.
Friday night grandstand admission is $20.00 for adults, $15.00 for seniors and juniors. On Saturday night, adults are $25.00, seniors and juniors are $18.00. Children are just $6.00 each night. Keep checking the website for a possibility of a discount coupon.
All the heavy hitters should be in attendance for the high paying 360 sprint car race. Sacramento's Kyle Hirst will pilot the Roth Motorsports #83jr. Roseville's Sean Becker will look to put Dan Menne's #75 back into victory lane at Chico. Auburn's Andy Forsberg just won his 10th main event of the year at Petaluma and looks to put his car on the front stretch after the races. Cameron Park's Stephen Allard, Visalia's Steven Tiner and St. Helena's Rico Abreu will all be in the mix to win it all.
Local's trying to fend off the "outsiders" will include Mason Moore, John Michael Bunch and Jonathan Allard.
Wingless sprints and the street stocks will race for good money this weekend also. The street stocks will race for $400 to win on Friday and $500 on Saturday. If 20 or more wingless cars show up on Saturday, the track will pay the winner $1200. The payout can be found on the downloadable flier at www.silverdollarspeedway.com
