Denman makes it Look Easy at Enduro
CHICO, CA (8-4-12) -Â Coalinga's Rich Denman dominated the 200 lap Silver Dollar Speedway Enduro on Saturday night. Denman led from the drop of the green flag and endured other cars misfortunes. Denman had some competition at the half way point of the race. Ryan Taylor was only one lap behind, however, just nine laps into the second segment he went to the pits and never returned. Brain Compton tried to stay within striking distance of but he too had mechanical problems and finished 43 laps behind. Near the end of the race Scott Longmire and Rob Stagle battled for the second spot. In the end it was Longmire who held a two lap advantage over Stagle. However, both drivers had nothing for Denman. The powerful #14 of Denman completed the 200 lap segment with a 22 lap advantage over Longmire. It was complete domination by Denman. It was the largest margin of victory ever at an Enduro race at Chico. Only 11 cars showed up for the Enduro race.
