Good Seats Still Available for Gold Cup

[caption id="" align="aligncenter" width="400"] Photo by Steven Cox [sprintcarphotos.com][/caption]CHICO, CA (5-21-12) - The World of Outlaw sprint cars are returning to the Silver Dollar Speedway for the 59th annual Gold Cup Race of Champions in September. A strong amount of good seats are still available for purchase by calling the track office at 530-350-7275. This years racing format will go back to the traditional three nights of racing for the World of Outlaw 410 sprints starting on Thursday night, September 6th and concluding on Saturday night, September 8th. On Wednesday night September 5th, the California Sprint Car Civil War Series and non-wing USAC sprints will kick off opening night festivities.

"It was important to the fans that we went back to the standard three night format of World of Outlaw racing," said promoter Dennis Gage. In fact, it was significant enough for Gage to fly back to Charlotte, North Carolina in the off season to meet with the World Racing Group and get these dates hammered out. "It was a long round trip flight but it was necessary to get the details worked out in person so the Gold Cup could go back to the standard format."

Fans who call now will receive a $10.00 discount off face value for their ticket. By purchasing tickets now, fans will also get their chance at premiere seating to this once a year event. Camping spots are also available for reservation by calling the track office.

Four nights of racing, numerous daily and night time activities are planned during the 59th Annual Gold Cup Race of Champions. Be sure to reserve your seats to today.
