Becker started in the second row and drove by early race leader Jason York on lap 15. Becker led the final ten laps to also secure his second win out of four starts at Chico in 2011. Becker dedicated the win to one of his long time supporters Carol McCann, who was unable to attend the race tonight because of a health problem. "I want to let Carol know I am thinking about her and hopeful for a speedy recovery. This one is for you Carol," sad Becker. Becker drove the Sperry Motorsports / C& H Veteran Enterprises / Cherry St Mini Storage #51 to the popular win. A total of 17 sprint cars entered point race #4 during the Wells Fargo point championship racing.

Chasing Becker across the finish line was Auburn's Andy Forsberg. Forsberg usually struggles on a wind-slicked dry racing surface. However, tonight Forsberg showed confidence in his crew to make the right set-up choices and it showed with the second place result. After tonight, Becker leads the points while Forsberg is in second. The drive of the night went to Princeton driver Mason Moore. Moore started 11th in the main event and on lap 23 passed Jason York for the third spot. Moore was catching Forsberg at the finish line. If the race was 30 laps I think both Forsberg and Becker would have had a hard time holding off Moore. Mason continues to impress with his smooth driving style and his ability to provide a good finish in the Harley Van Dyke / Rolling Hills Casino / Lucas Oil #5h.

A big welcome back goes out to Jason York. The reigning track champion had missed the first few point shows because of the lack his 410 motor being ready. Tonight he started on the pole position and led the first 15 laps. Becker was able to pass him for the lead and then Forsberg got around him with six laps to go. York would wind up in the fourth spot at the end of 25 laps. It was still a good showing for York considering it was his first appearance of 2011 with the winged sprint car series.

Rounding out the top five was Chico's Robbie Whitchurch. Whitchurch started the night off by turning the quickest lap in qualifying at a 12.671. John Michael Bunch was the highest finishing 360 in the main event.

Becker won the first heat race while Brad Bumgarner scored the win in heat two.
