CHICO, CA (7-30-10) - Oroville driver Sean Becker made it two in a row with his win Friday night in the sprint car main event. Fitting on his sponsor's night, Becker's Cherry St. Mini Storage/ Dan's Roofing sponsored car gained the lead during lap number nine and dominated the first spot for the rest of the 25-lap race. This was not only Becker's second win in a row but also his third win in the last four 410 winged main event races; proving that Becker is on quite a roll. "This was my 51^st career winged sprint car main event victory so it's cool that I did it driving the Sperry Motorsports #51," said Becker in victory lane. The 410-sprint main event race got off to a slow start with a total of four failed attempts at a green flag start. The first two tries at a start ended with spins in turn number two; driver Daniel Becker on the first try and Matt Land on the second. On the third restart, Kenny Allen spun in turn number four while Daniel Becker continued his bad luck of the night with a spin in turn number three on the fourth attempt at getting laps up on the scoreboard.

Due to the cautions, a single file start-up was lead by Brett Miller by virtue of his qualifying time of 11.495 earlier that night. On lap one, Kevin Sharrah spun in turn four. On lap three, driver Jason York hit hard into the wall coming out of turn four bringing out caution number seven of the race. However, the race heated up quickly once the drivers were able to get a few laps up on the scoreboard.

Lap 12 broke the green flag streak when Kenny Allen maneuvered off track and brought a caution flag. On lap 16, Ricky Wright Jr. ended up off the track past turn one and brought out a red flag. Although Becker had the obvious strong car of the night, Andy Forsberg, Brett Miller, Mark Hall and Tyler Wolf rounded out the top five spots and put in a great race for second and third position.

Becker must have been looking to make an impressive performance of the night with not only his main event win but also with his eight-lap win of heat race number three. Driver Sean McMahan won the 410-sprint car heat race number one and finished ninth in the main event, while driver Danielle Simpson lead heat race number two.

Miller, who finished third for the night, remains top driver in the point standings with Jason York and Tyler Wolf close behind.
