WHEATLAND, MO. (Nov. 17, 2021) - Automobile enthusiasts planning to attend this weekend’s 8th annual Hot Rod Holiday at the spacious Ozark Empire Fairgrounds E-Plex in Springfield are invited to stop by the Lucas Oil Speedway booth and say hello to track personnel.
Lucas Oil Speedway General Manager Danny Lorton said he will have printed copies of the recently released 2022 track schedule to give away.
“We look forward to seeing fans of motorsports and invite those who support horsepower to stop by and visit with us. We’ll be happy to answer questions about next season or just talk racing,” Lorton said. “We’re always happy to be a part of Hot Rod Holiday, which is such a big winter event for car enthusiasts.”
Event organizers bill it as the only indoor car show this winter, aimed to brighten up a chilly November weekend. More than 130 vehicles will be on display in addition to vendors offering gear for your ride, your garage or yourself.

Show hours are 10 a.m. until 8 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. Sunday. An awards presentation is set for 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
Lucas Oil Speedway recently announced the 2022 tentative schedule, which includes the usual variety of motorsports on the dirt oval, drag-boat track and off-road course. The season begins with an Open Test & Tune on April 16 and the season-opening 9th annual Lucas Oil MLRA Spring Nationals is set for April 22-23.
