Bowers leads big field of Midwest Lightning Sprints to checkered flag at Lake Ozark Speedway
By Bob Douglas (Eldon, MO) --The POWERi Midwest Lightning Sprints were back at the beautiful Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, MO on Sat night. The track was in a great shape for some good racing. Our car count of 18 cars was the largest for this season and we have several cars that did not make the trip.

The POWRi Lighting Sprints next race is at I-35 Speedway, Winston, MO on Sat Aug 3rd . Make plans to come out and watch the POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints squirt some dirt!!
The racing in the MLS is fiercely competitive. With motorcycle power and low-cost maintenance, this is still the most economical way to go fast in a race car. These cars are 1 1/2 seconds a lap faster than an A Mod or a Late Model. New drivers/cars will be coming out each week. There are good used cars for sale. Contact the MLS for info.
