Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels vs. DIRTcar Summer Nationals at Tri-State Speedway Sunday July 7
SOMERSET, KENTUCKY (July 1, 2024)– The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will be in action on Sunday July 7 at “The Class Track” Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Ind. in an event that will be co-sanctioned with the 2024 DIRTcar Summer Nationals tour that will pay $5,000 and $500 to start. This event is being presented by Ted Brown’s Quality Paint and Body.
The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels will be at Tri-State Speedway on Sunday July 7 and will be featured in a full program of Todd Steel Buildings “Building Speed” Hot Laps, E-Z-GO Time Trials presented by Brucebilt Performance Parts, Heat Races, STAKT Products B-Mains, and the 40-lap, $5,000 to win/$500 to start Valvoline A-Main feature event. Joining the Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels and DIRTcar Summer Nationals in competition at Tri-State Speedway on Sunday July 7 will be the Summit Racing Equipment DIRTcar Open Wheel Modified Summer Nationals tour.
Activities at Tri-State Speedway on Sunday July 7 will see the driver’s meeting will be at 5:30 p.m., with hot laps and time trials set to begin at 6:00 p.m., with racing set for the green flag at 7:30 p.m. All times listed at Central Time. Ticket prices at Tri-State Speedway on Sunday July 7 in the general admission area will be $30 for adults (students ages 13-18 will be $20 and children ages 12 and under are free), while a pit pass will be $35.
The Valvoline American Late Model Iron-Man Series Fueled by VP Racing Fuels and DIRTcar Summer Nationals will co-sanction the Super Late Model portion of the event (all DIRTcar Summer Nationals Series rules and procedures apply) and the tire rule will be as follows: Fronts and Left Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2; Right Rear: Hoosier NLMT 2, NLMT 3, and NLMT 4, the droop rule will be in effect, along with the Unified Dirt Late Model Car Construction rules). There is NO entry fee for this event (driver must be a DIRTcar member) and transponders for timing/scoring will be available for rent at the track.
