At a Glance: Tri-State Speedway in Indiana

Concord, NC—October 12, 2010—

WHAT

•The World of Outlaws go from the biggest track on the schedule last weekend to one of the smallest this weekend as the series returns to the always racy ¼-mile high-banked bullring at Tri-State Speedway in Indiana on Saturday, October 16, for an event that was postponed by rain earlier this season. Just three races remain in 2010, with Jason Meyers currently leading 20-time series champion and defending Tri-State winner Steve Kinser by 98 markers with four-time and defending series champion Donny Schatz third and Indiana native Joey Saldana fourth. Kinser, who won the most recent World of Outlaws event at Rolling Wheels Raceway Park in New York, has won two of the last three and three of the last five races the series has contested at Tri-State Speedway and has eight career victories with the series at the track in his home state. Craig Dollansky, who has won twice at Haubstadt, is the only other driver currently competing full-time that has won with the series at the track other than Kinser.

WHEN

•On Saturday, October 16, the pit gates will open 3 p.m. Central, with the grandstand gates opening at 4 p.m. Central and hot laps are set for 6 p.m. Central with time trials to follow. Racing is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Central.

WHERE

• Tri-State Speedway is located in Haubstadt, Indiana, three miles north of I-64 on U.S. 41.

TICKETS

•On Saturday, October 16 at Tri-State Speedway, adult general admission tickets will be $30, with general admission tickets for children (ages 6-12) $15, with kids 5-under admitted free of charge in the general admission section. Adult reserved tickets (ages 13-over) will be $35 and reserved tickets for children will be $25. Tickets for this event can be purchased by calling (812) 768-6025.
