Top 5 finish with Comp Cams at Lone Star Speedway

Friday night saw David Breazeale return to action at Lone Star Speedway (Kilgore, Texas) piloting the Henderson Motorsports No. 54B Late Model for the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS) sanctioned contest. Following the sixth fastest time overall in a field of 25 cars, Breazeale bagged a runner-up finish in his heat behind Billy Moyer, which positioned him sixth on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $4,000 on the line, David improved two spots in the 30-lapper to place fourth behind Billy Moyer, Drew Armstrong, and B.J. Robinson with Jon Mitchell coming in fifth. (Scott Burson photo)

On Saturday evening at Boothill Speedway (Greenwood, La.), David secured his spot into the $4,000-to-win finale with a third place finish in his heat. Passing two cars in the 40-lap affair, Breazeale notched a seventh place finish.
