Welcome to the 14th Annual Avanti Windows & Doors Capitani Classic Presented by Great Southern Bank! A whopping 75 cars have signed in for their last shot at the Knoxville Raceway ahead of the Nationals, and the honor of being the Capitani Classic champion!

Carson McCarl is a scratch for the night...

Time trials are next, 2 laps on the clock, three cars at a time...The First group will comprise heats 1-3, the second group will make up heats 4-6...

Pursley is quickest in group #1 at 15.686 seconds, followed by Brian Brown, Austin McCarl, Sye Lynch and Carson Macedo...

Issues for Netrick, who spins, Parker Price-Miller, who just gets one lap in, and Matt Juhl, who hasn't got a lap in yet...

James McFadden is your quick timer at 16.362 seconds, followed by Gio Scelzi, Brent Marks, Rico Abreu and Garet Williamson...

Heats are up next, the invert is 4, take the top three to the feature...4th through 9th to the B, and the rest to the C....

Schuchart leads early over Pursley, Day and Lynch...Schuchart, Pursley and Day to the A...

Heat two

Swet leads Ball, Brown and Macedo...Brown now by Ball on lap two for 2nd...Thorson working on Macdo for 4th...Ball gets over the cushion and loses ground...Thorson is now by Macedo and taking a look at Ball for the final transfer...Thorson has the spot...Brown is all over Sweet for the win...Macedo challenging for 3rd on the last lap...Sweet wins, then Brown and Macedo moving on...

Heat three

Kofoid leads Schatz, Windom and A McCarl...A McCarl sneaks by Windom on the outside for the third and final transfer with 4 to go...Kofoid, Schatz and A McCarl to the feature...

Heat four

Abreu leads early over McFadden, Ch Martin and Sanders....Abreu, McFadden and Ch Martin move on...PPM runs out of time in 4th....

Heat five

Timms leads early over Scelzi, Hafertepe, Williamson and Dietrich...Dietrich storms by Williamson on the low side for 4th...Scelzi reeling in Timms for the lead...Ditrich now under Hafertpee for the final transfer spot...Timms, Scelzi and Dietrich to the A...Timms nearly lost it in turn four above the cushion on the last lap...

Heat six

Thomas Jr. leads Madsden, Crouch Myers and Axsom early...Madsen now to the lead on lap 2...Marks shoots under Crouch for the 3rd and final transfer spopt with five to go...Netrock is off...Madsen, Thomas Jr. and Marks to the A...

Scotty Johnson is scratched for the night...

C main is up next...10 laps, top 4 to the two B mains...

Hughes leasd Peck, Bacon, Wolfe and Shaffer early...Prck takes the lead...Peck, Hughes, Bacon and Wolfe move on to the B's...

The Pole Shuffle is up next, Rico Abreu on the outside, Macedo on the bottom, going two laps...Abreu comes from behind to win it!

Abreu will now take on Marks...Marks chooses the inside line...Marks hits a rut in turn one and Rico takes the lead....Abreu wins it...

A McCarl is on now...he will take the top...Rico to the lead and will win it...

Scelzi is up next to take on Rico...Scelzi takes the inside line...Gio is good on the bottom and he holds him off!

Brown will take on Scelzi next...Brown chooses the low linie...Brown gets the jump into one and two...he's holding the lead and will win it...

Brown will take on McFadden next...McFadden will choose the inside line...McFaden to the early lead...a slider by Brown in turn two just falls short!

McFadden will take on Pursley for the pole! Pursley will choose the inside groove...Pursley stumbles on the bottom, but keeps the lead on lap one....Pursley wins it and will start on the pole!

Two B mains are up next, 12 laps, each will take the top 3 to the A....

B main one

Ball visits the work area and restarts at the tail...Lynch leads Macri, Haudenschild, Holmes and Thorson...Kaeding now up into the top five...Lynch is into lapped traffic with three to go...Haudenschild challenging Macri for 2nd as the lead three are close ...Lycnh, Macri and Haudenschild move on to the feature...

B main two

Hafertepe Jr. gets sideways in turn one before we get a lap in...PPM leads Williamson, Axsom and Sanders....now Sanders is by Axsom for the third and final transfer spot on lap 2...Hafertepe is off...Axsom tries a slider on Sanders and comes just short in tur two with 7 to go...Sanders is catching Williamson now for 2nd...he's got it with 4 to go...Sanders now reeling in PPM...Axsom trying to catch Williamson for the final trnasfer and he has it with one to go...Sanders to the lead...Williamson catching PPM for the final transfer...PPM slides into Williamson and Williamson goes flying...Green, white, checker finish coming...Sanders leads Axsom, PPM, Crouch, Hickle, Bayston, Garner, Bubak, Dover, Crawley, Hahn, Tantell, Wolfe, Thram, J Martin, Hughes, Whittall...PPM is coming in with no brakes...Crouch will inherit the final transfer...Bayston is by Hickle for 4th and going after Crouch...Sanders, Axsom and Crouch move on...
