'One and Only' at Knoxville opens TONIGHT!
By Knoxville Raceway (Knoxville, IA) -- The biggest sprint car race of 2020 begins TONIGHT at Knoxville Raceway! The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series hosts "The One and Only" - a three-day battle that culminates in the Brownells Capitani Classic presented by Great Southern Bank on Saturday.
Seventy-two of the nation's top 410 winged sprint car driver will compete all three nights, earning points to secure the best starting position for Saturday's $50,000-to-win feature event.
Pit gate opens at 2pm today. Grandstand gates open at 5:30pm. Hot Laps are scheduled to begin at 7pm.
Tickets are still available at www.worldofoutlaws.com or at the Knoxville Raceway ticket office. Saturday tickets are going fast! Less than 300 remain and all are backstretch-access only. All tickets are general admission. Seating is in even numbered rows only and three empty seats must be left between groups in the same row. Tickets for Thursday and Friday are $35 for adults, $20 for teens and children 12 and under are free. Saturday ticket prices are $40 for adults, $22 for teens and children 12 and under are free. Pit Passes are available to purchase at the gate.
Camping is available at the North Campground, roughly 1/2 mile north of the track, and can be reserved by calling 641-842-5431.

"Knoxville Nation" Interview Show TOMORROW
We're no Steve Post, Ashley Stremme and Erin Evernham and we're not hosting "Winged Nation" this week. BUT, we are going to try our hand at a one-day "Knoxville Nation" show hosted by Johnny Gibson and Tony Bokhoven.
Friday, from 3-4pm, in the Knoxville Raceway food court, Johnny and Tony will interview Kyle Larson, Brad Sweet, Brian Brown, Sheldon Haudenschild, David Gravel and Dominic Scelzi.
Join us in the food court! Grab a bite to eat and a cold beverage and hear about The One and Only and the build-up to the Brownells Capitani Classic presented by Great Southern Bank from the drivers themselves.

National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum Online Auction
Due to COVID restrictions, the traditional National Sprint Car Hall of Fame & Museum charity auction cannot be held this year.
However, the Hall of Fame moved all of their items online so anyone can bid and win!

KRCO Racing Trivia Fundraiser SATURDAY
Don't miss the biggest off-track event of the weekend: The KRCO Racing Trivia Fundraiser.
The event will be held in Dyer-Hudson Hall, located behind the fronstretch grandstands, from 2-4pm on Saturday. Social distancing rules will apply, so a limited number of team spots are open!
Prizes include: 2021 My Place Hotels 360 Nationals resented by Great Southern Bank tickets, 2021 Capitani Classic presented by Great Southern Bank tickets, NOS Energy Drink cooler and swag and more!
Cost is $10 per person. Players can play individually or in teams of four. Register your team tonight or tomorrow night at the KRCO 50/50 booth located under the frontstretch grandstands!
