Inside Line Promotions – KNOXVILLE, Iowa (Aug. 14, 2018) – Harli White will return to Lucas Oil ASCS National Tour presented by SawBlade.com competition this weekend following the 58th annual 5-Hour Energy Knoxville Nationals presented by Casey’s General Stores.

White is scheduled to race this Saturday at Hamilton County Speedway in Webster City, Iowa, and Sunday at Missouri State Fair Speedway in Sedalia, Mo.

“We’re excited to go to a new track at Hamilton County Speedway and to return to Missouri State Fair Speedway, where we’ve got a few laps,” she said. “Hopefully the transition from racing 410s last weekend to 360s this weekend will help us.”

White raced last weekend at Knoxville Raceway during sprint car racing’s biggest event and she showed improvement from her event debut last year. She kicked off her preliminary night on Thursday by timing in 28th quickest in qualifying – a nine-car improvement from last year. White then finished third in a heat race to lock into the main event, in which she placed 23rd after pulling off early.

She returned to the half-mile oval on Friday, qualifying 23rd in her group before placing ninth in a heat race and 13th in a B Main.

The event wrapped up on Saturday with White advancing a position to finish seventh in the D Main, which was only one spot shy of transferring into the back of the C Main. However, it marked her best finale result at the event.

“It’s disappointing because I know we’re better than we finished,” she said. “It’s one of those things we don’t have much experience with 410 setups or 410 motors so we were basing it off whoever would get us some sort of insight. I wish we could get more 410 races in before we threw ourselves to the wolves, but it was a great experience to continue to learn.

“I want to thank Nattress Construction, Celebrate Community Church in Sioux Falls, Blackshaw’s Smash Repairs, Aussie Nev and Conner and Steve Blackshaw for their help in getting us to race the Knoxville Nationals.

“It was an honor to race the Knoxville Nationals. I heard they sold out every seat so it’s pretty cool to race in front of one of the largest crowds we’ll ever race in front of.”
