Wissota NLRA Late Models - Race Results & Recap
It was a great show on Saturday Night. The Wissota NLRA Late Models invaded the Jamestown Speedway on Saturday night, August 22nd and it was a great night of racing and hard fought battles. It was a pleasure hosting the NLRA Late Models this season and thanks to all of the drivers, fans, and track personnel for coming out last night. Also, a huge thanks to Hanson Tire Service and Innovative Siding, Windows, and Remodeling for sponsoring the show last night and proving great services to our community.
Great job to the track prep crew for their hard work this week as the track was in great shape. The track had some tack in it, multiple grooves throughout the night, and was smooth. The surface provided for a lot of side by side battles with great racing. Overall, it was a great night for racing and in total, we had 133 cars in the pits to do battle on Saturday Night (Almost like a mini-Stampede).

We hope all of the drivers had a great time and hope to see everyone back throughout the season. Also, we are so thankful that Dwight Wegner is doing okay after his scary wreck last night. Take it easy Dwight and we hope to see you back at the track soon.
Please join us next week for some more high-flying, action-packed racing on Jamestown's 1/4 mile high-bank oval. Next week Saturday, August 29th is Season Championship Night!
