Midwest Legends Dirt Series
Double Header on Deck for the MLDS
West Allis, WI (July 31st, 2024) - A weekend of racing and excitement awaits the Midwest Legends Dirt Series Presented by Legends.Direct with back-to-back nights at Lafayette County Speedway and Maquoketa Speedway.
The weekend will start off with a Friday night throwdown at Lafayette County Speedway in Darlington, Wisconsin. The first race of the season in Lafayette was unfortunately rained out but this time, the track looks to be in good shape for a great night of racing.
The second night of the weekend will take place at the familiar Maquoketa Speedway in Iowa. The track that has hosted two races this season has seen some great racing with Ryan Sullivan and Jackson Lewis take wins so far.
Jackson Lewis continues to lead the way in points with the top three unchanged with Jordan Miklas and Ryan Sullivan in second and third. Hayden Schmuhl sits in fourth with Dallas Ross moving into the fifth-place spot. Michael Weber has fallen back to sixth with Charlie Spoonmore in seventh. Brady Ascherien has broken into eighth with Adam Zellmer in ninth and Colton Utley in tenth. The points are still wide open, but the season is dwindling down, and every point is valuable now.
The pits and grandstands will open at 5:00pm on Friday night at Lafayette County Speedway with hotlaps at 6:45pm. Saturday night at Maquoketa Speedway, the pits and grandstands will open at 4:00pm with hotlaps slated to start at 6:00pm.
