Garey holds off McDowell in a thriller
(Clewiston, FL) - Royal Palm Beach teenager Reed Garey took home his first win in his webauthor.com/Hoover Architectural Superior race car. Garey was able to hold off Jaedon McDowell and keep him from scoring his second win in as many nights by just over half a second. Dillon Raffurty, winner of the 2023 Sugar Bowl, held off another young hotshoe in the 11C of Carson Hubbard by only two tenths at the line to complete the podium.
Iowa drivers Cory Sonner and Randy Brian were fifth and sixth respectively. CJ Permann, Thursday prelim winner Chris Robinson, Ben George and Tom Hann rounded out the top 10.
