Eight Events Across ASCS Winged and Non-Wing Disciplines Lines Memorial Day Weekend

Bryan Hulbert – TULSA, Okla. (May 23, 2019) Memorial Day Weekend is in many ways the official kick-off to the real meat of the racing season across the United States, and that is certainly the case for the American Sprint Car Series.

Originally seeing events in Arizona, Montana, Texas, and Missouri this weekend, Mother Nature has already claimed the Brodix ASCS Frontier Region opener at Big Sky Speedway, located just north of Billings, Mont. leaving eight other events on the lineup.

On the non-wing front, the San Tan Ford ASCS Desert Non-Wing Sprint Series at Canyon Speedway Park in Peoria, Ariz. on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26 with the track opening at 5:00 P.M with racing at 7:30 P.M. (MT) both nights. The ASCS Elite Non-Wing Series presented by Abilene Powder Coating will visit Grayson County Speedway in Bells, Texas on Saturday, May 25 with gates opening at 5:00 P.M. and racing at 8:00 P.M. (CT). The weekend continues at Heart O’ Texas Speedway with the gates in Waco on Sunday, May 26 opening at 5:00 P.M. and racing at 7:00 P.M. (CT)

For the wings, the ASCS Southwest Region will join in on the fun at Canyon Speedway Park on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26.

Bringing the Griffith Truck and Equipment ASCS Gulf South Region and ASCS Lone Star Regions together, the Texas-sized matchup will begin at the Devil’s Bowl Speedway in Mesquite, Texas on Saturday, May 25. Gates will open at 6:00 P.M. with racing getting underway around 8:00 P.M. (CT). The two series continue their weekend at the high-banks of the Lone Star Speedway in Kilgore, Texas on Sunday, May 26. Gates on the three-eighths-mile oval open at 5:30 P.M. with action at 7:00 P.M. (CT).

Joining with the Lucas Oil American Sprint Car Series presented by the MAVTV Motorsports Network, the Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps will be at the Lake Ozark Speedway Spring Nationals on Saturday, May 25 and Sunday, May 26. Both nights go green at 7:30 P.M. (CT).
