Car Show Added To Swap Meet

Coming on January 30th, Five Flags Speedway will present their 15th Annual Racer’s Swap Meet. This gathering, held in the Speedway parking lot, has become widely popular amongst all the racing community in the Southeast. Oval track racers, both asphalt and dirt, drag racers, street rods, and generally speaking, all gearheads, find this setting an ideal place to find bargains on items they might need for the upcoming season, or to rid their shops of unneeded pieces that tend to just be in the way.
Past years have seen anything from complete turn key cars, to nut and bolt assortments, and anything in between, be carried out of the sales lot. There will also be an area for trailers to be displayed.
Admission is FREE to the Racer’s Swap Meet, and all transactions will be between buyers and sellers. There is a $25 Seller’s Fee for those wanting to enter sales lot. There will be no charge for displaying and selling trailers in the adjacent lot.
Adding flavor to this year’s Swap Meet, we’re inviting all area car show enthusiasts to join the fun, and display their current rides. We know Car Show season is approaching, and we’ve been contacted by several hot rodders looking to get rolling, so this will be a much welcomed addition to a day for car people.
Gates will open at 8am on Saturday January 30th. The Swap Meet will last until 12:00 Noon. There will be door prizes given throughout the day, and as always, plenty of good bench racing will be had by all. There will be food truck on site, and a stage on the lot for announcements and driver interviews.
