51 First Look: 48th Annual Snowball Derby Entry List
October 7, 2015 • 51 Sports Stop,
Pensacola, FL – The entires for the 48th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway have been pouring in during the summer months. The names on the list of Super Late Model entires for the December 6th 300-lap race in Pensacola, FL, include winners and champions from all walks of racing.
And with autumn upon us, officials from the Snowball Derby are reminding competitors that there is an advantage to getting your entry blank in as soon as possible. Pit stalls for the 48th annual Snowball Derby will be selected by the order in which the entry blanks are received.
“We’ve been getting entries every single day for this year’s Snowball Derby and it’s already shaping up to be one of the best fields we have ever had in the history of this great event, said Tim Bryant, General Manager of Five Flags Speedway. “It’s a true honor for us at Five Flags to have such big names from NASCAR and the short track scene all going for the Tom Dawson Trophy on December 6.
“While we’ve got a great list of entries already, It’s important for every driver who is not already registered to get their entry in soon. Between pit selection being in order of entry and the pre-race publicity that they can get, drivers should get their entries in sooner rather than later.
To date, a total of 43 entries have been received for the prestigious event. To obtain an entry blank, visit www.snowballderby.com and click the Snowball Derby tab in the upper-right portion of the site. From there, click the Driver Registration area to access the form for all divisions competing during this year’s Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway.
