Derrick Griffin enters 47th Snowball Derby in KCM Chassis

At age 20, Derrick Griffin found himself running the 2011 full schedule in the CRA Super Series as a rookie, and not only won ROTY honors, but he won the Championship, a feat that had only happened once before. Now three years later, he finds himself behind the wheel of the first KCM Chassis and entered in 47th Annual Snowball Derby at Five Flags Speedway.

The South Bend, Indiana native has been to Five Flags in the past, and is looking for a win in the new KCM chassis. The cars debut was at the All American 400 earlier this year and had a fantastic run.

“I really appreciate the opportunity to drive the car. We practiced last week and the car was stable and fast,� said Griffin. “It’s the biggest Late Model Race in the Country, and I can wait to get there and finish the 2014 season on a high note�

The car is sponsored by Kevin Crider Motorsports, and will sport the familiar DG number 95. They are looking for other partners to join them as they look for a competitive run, and to focus on winning the Snowball Derby. For more information on sponsorships, contact The BUZZ Race Marketing.
