Garrett Jones to compete in 2013 Snowflake 100

Garrett Jones, the 2013 Pro Late Model Champion at 5 Flags Speedway, will make his second start in the annual Snowflake 100. "Last year we came down and entered the Snowflake without having raced at 5 Flags. We made the field and finished the race, but we weren't as competitive as we needed to be. This past year I have raced every Pro Late Model race held at 5 Flags - trying to learn the track and put the team in a better position this year. We haven't visited victory lane at this historic track yet, but we've been close with a couple of 2nd's this year. I've learned a lot and picked up the local track championship. I'm hungry to get a win here and the Snowflake would be a great race to win. The competition for the 'Flake is as tough as it gets. We believe we will be a contender this year! In racing, especially at these big events, all you can ask for is to have a shot at the trophy. If we are in position at the end, I'm definitely gonna take my shot!" laughs Garrett. Garrett invites all his fans to join him this year during the 46th Annual Snowball Derby week as he pilots his #88 ElectroFuse Chevy in pursuit to be the youngest winner in Snowflake history!
