Podium finish in Castrol FloRacing Night in America opener

Taking part in opener for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America, Brandon Overton and the Wells Motorsports team trekked to Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) on Tuesday for the $22,022-to-win A-Main. With recent rain making for rough track conditions, Overton laid down the second-fastest in his group before picking up a heat win. Relying on the bottom groove as he avoided the ruts in the feature, Brandon raced to a third-place finish in the 30-lapper. He trailed Kyle Larson and Jonathan Davenport to the checkers. On Wednesday evening at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) for the second round of the 13-race miniseries, Brandon secured his spot into the $22,022-to-win A-Main with a heat race win. Scoring a Top-5 finish in his first-ever start at the Indiana-oval, Overton recorded a fourth-place finish.

With the first two events in the books, Brandon sits in third in the Castrol FloRacing Night in America point standings.
