MATT STANGLE GETS 1ST DIS WIN IN 602 SPORTSMAN
Mike Hough got off to a great first night out taking the lead from Dwayne Crockett at the start of the 20-lap AC Delco 602 Sportsman feature. Jordn Justice wasted no time grabbing third with Matt Stangle riding in the fourth spot.
Justice got by Crockett on lap five and locked into a great battle with Hough. The paired swapped the lead back and forth until halfway when Justice took the point. Stangle followed into the second spot dropping Hough to third.
It only took two laps for Stangle to work by Crockett. The last half of the race was all green and Stangle would make no mistake to collect the $1000 victory, his first at Delaware International. Justice had his best finish of the season in second with Crockett ended a solid run in third. Fourth went to Scott Hitchens who came from the rear of the field after a lap six tangle and Hough ended a great first night out in fifth.
